Plan Traveling From Indiana To EAA Crashes In Fond Du Lac County

(Ripon) A plane traveling from Indiana to EAA in Oshkosh crashed in Ripon yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about the crash around 12:19pm that occurred in a field near the address of W13061 Locust Road. The initial investigation showed that the 1933 Stinson single engine plane experienced a mechanical issue with fuel. The pilot, 40-year-old Justin Click from Indiana, attempted to land the plane in the field but the ground was wet causing the front tires to dig into the mud and flip the plan onto its roof. Click received minor injuries while three passengers were uninjured. All occupants were wearing safety belts. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
