Penterman Receives Award from Wisconsin Economic Development Association

(Madison) A state representative from Columbus was recognized for his leadership on legislative initiatives to drive economic growth and prosperity in Wisconsin.

William Penterman was awarded the Champion of Economic Development by the Wisconsin Economic Development Association for supporting a wide range of legislation to advance the Wisconsin economy. They include a state-low interest program for rehabilitation of older single-family homes to promote the development of a much needed workforce and an effort to address the Wisconsin workforce shortage crisis through a proposal to attract military veterans to live and work in the state.

The award is given to state lawmakers who demonstrate extraordinary support for important economic development policies. The award was presented to him in downtown Columbus.
