Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Horicon

(Horicon) A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the city of Horicon Tuesday afternoon. The Horicon Police Department was called the scene where Highway 28 and Highway 33 connect around 3:48pm.

Chief Amy Yahnke says law enforcement responded swiftly upon receiving reports of the crash. Emergency medical services were also immediately dispatched to provide necessary medical assistance. The pedestrian involved received immediate medical attention and was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Yahnke says their thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this distressing incident. She adds that due to the ongoing investigation, specific details regarding the cause and contributing factors of the crash cannot be released at this time.
