Passenger Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries Following Crash On Highway 60 In Rubicon

(Rubicon) Three people were injured, two seriously, in a two vehicle crash on State Highway 60 near Jefferson Road in the township of Rubicon Thursday morning. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident just before 10am. The initial investigation shows a passenger car traveling east on Highway 60 started to spin counter-clockwise, traveled over the center roadway line and into the westbound traffic lane. A pickup truck traveling west on Highway 60 then collided with the car. The driver of the pickup sustained minor injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital. The driver of the car sustained serious injuries and was transported to Aurora Hospital. A passenger in the car had life-threatening injuries and was airlifted by MedFlight to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee. The crash is under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office. Assisting at the scene was the Wisconsin State Patrol, Hartford Fire and EMS, MedFlight, Lebanon EMS, Hustisford First Responders, Neosho Fire Department and the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain.
