One Week Left In Drive Sober Campaign

(Fall River) Just a reminder that the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s annual “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” effort runs through next Wednesday (January 1st), with an increase in officers on the road during the holiday period. Six-thousand will be out across the state, along with 300 drug recognition experts. Sheriff’s offices in Fond du Lac and Columbia counties are participating, along with agencies in Campbellsport, Brandon Fairwater, Fond du Lac, Oakfield, Rosendale, Waupun, Fall River, Lodi, Portage and Wyocena. In 2018, 159 people died in alcohol-related crashes on Wisconsin roads and more than 3,000 people were injured.
