One Person Seriously Hurt Following Two Vehicle Crash Near Fox Lake

(Fox Lake) One person was flown from the scene Thursday following a two vehicle crash in the Township of Fox Lake. The incident occurred around 1:50pm on County Road A at County Road C. The preliminary investigation shows that a Ford box truck was south bound on County C and was approaching County A while an Equinox was eastbound on County A. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the truck failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with the Equinox. The driver of the truck, a 61-year-old Juneau man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. A 71-year-old man from Beaver Dam was behind the wheel of the Equinox, he was transported to Beaver Dam Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was later flown to UW-Hospital in Madison. A 71-one-year-old female, also from Beaver Dam, was a passenger in the Equinox and was flown to UW-Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. Assisting at the scene was the Fox Lake Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Fox Lake Fire and EMS, Randolph EMS, Beaver Dam Paramedics, Dodge County Highway Department and Med Flight.
