Olaf

Special Needs
Olaf (Ole) is an 11-month-old Blue Merle Sheltie. He was surrendered due to his neurological issues being too much for his senior owner. Olaf was hypoxic when he was born and suffered some neurological damage in the process. He doesn’t have full control over his gate and sometimes leans or falls to the side. Olaf’s adopter will need to be someone willing to continue veterinary care as needed.
Don’t be fooled by his neurological issues though. Olaf is full of energy and loves to go on walks. He is crate trained and mostly housetrained. He adores his humans and enjoys snuggle time. He previously lived with dogs and cats; however, some of his neurological issues were not well received by the other resident animals. We would recommend a home without young kids or other animals to avoid any unintentional and misunderstood negative interactions.
You can visit Olaf of the Dodge County Humane Society any Tuesday or Thursday from 12-7pm.
As well as Saturdays from 12-4pm.
