October 20th is Brandied Fruit Day

Brandied Fruit Topping 03 31 14

½ c. raisins

½ c. mandarin oranges

1 c. pitted prunes

¾ c. white sugar

Water to cover

1 (15 oz.) can sliced peaches, chopped

1 (15 oz.) can pineapple chunks

¾ c. brandy

In large saucepan, combine raisin, mandarin oranges, prunes, sugar and water to cover. Simmer over medium heat until syrupy; about 10 minutes. Stir in peaches, pineapple and brandy. Store in fridge.
