Oconomowoc Man Survives Fiery Crash

(HUBBARD) An Oconomowoc man is recovering from serious injuries sustained in a one-vehicle crash on Sept. 8, at approximately 2:51 p.m. in the town of Hubbard in Dodge County.ย 

The initial investigation shows a 2018 Honda Odyssey was eastbound on Highway 67 west of Moss Rd. The vehicle crossed the center line and left the roadway on the north side of the road. The vehicle traveled through a standing corn field for approximately 75 yards and struck several trees before coming to rest on private property. The vehicle then started on fire and was fully engulfed in flames upon the arrival of responding deputies.  

The 38-year-old driver from Oconomowoc was able to escape the vehicle and was transported by Flight for Life Wisconsin to a nearby hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.  

Assisting at the scene were Iron Ridge Fire and EMS, Hustisford Fire Department, City of Hartford EMS, the Iron Ridge Police Department, the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team, and Flight for Life Wisconsin.
