(Portage) No injuries were reported during garage fire in Portage early yesterday (Wednesday) morning. The Portage Fire Department responded to a property on Dunning Drive just before 2:30am. Upon arrival, the structure was fully engulfed in fire and the flames had started to extend to the house and neighboring homes. All occupants of the house were able to evacuate, including a dog. Fire crews from Pardeeville, Wyocena, Poynette assisted while the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and Aspirus Medivac were also on scene. The fire remains under investigation.
