(Beaver Dam) Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in the township of Beaver Dam yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon. A 67-year-old Fox Lake man heading west on Highway B near the intersection with Highway W lost control and struck an eastbound SUV, operated by a 39-year-old Beaver Dam, around 4pm. The Fox Lake man suffered life-threatening injuries while the Beaver Dam man was seriously injured. The crash remains under investigation.

(Juneau) A Dodgeland High School student is one of 12 finalists for the 26th Annual Chevron Tractor Restoration Competition. Noah Roberts, representing Dodgeland FFA in Juneau, was selected among 11 others from across the country. Roberts restored an antique tractor that he purchased, a 1950 Farmall M. He started last fall and completed his work this past August. Finalist presentations will take place November 2nd through the 3rd in Indianapolis, co-located with the 2023 FFA National Expo, were the winner will be announced. (Beaver Dam) The second annual Pull for Kids is this Saturday at the Beaver Dam Conservationists Club. The event features a 50 bird, 16-yard Lewis Class shoot as well as a five bird fun shoot. Classes are based on number of entries and all ties divide. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, a bucket raffle, and a meat raffle. Proceeds raised during the event will benefit the Good Karma Brands John Moser Children’s Radiothon. (Lowell) A Lowell man has been charged with making inappropriate contact with a minor. Ryan Neu allegedly assaulted the 16-year-old victim while she stayed over at his Lowell home in January. Neu’s DNA was allegedly detected after the victim’s SANE exam was sent to the state crime lab for analysis. If convicted, Neu faces up to 30 years behind bars. An initial appearance is scheduled for October 16th.

(Fond du Lac) A violent sex offender will be living in the facilities constructed to house those individuals in Fond du Lac County. Joseph Prellwitz will be residing at the county’s Highway Department grounds at 1830 South Hickory Street in Fond du Lac by Friday. The site has a routine law enforcement presence as sheriff’s deputies frequently refuel their squad cars at the facility and it is also a training location for them. In 1992, the 59-year-old Prellwitz was convicted in Fond du Lac County for sexually assaulting two relatives known to him.
