(Beaver Dam) Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says his office has made multiple drug arrests in the last several months. Crimes include methamphetamine, manufacturing and delivering fentanyl, and bail jumping. He says they release information about the arrests to keep the community safe and aware of the individuals.

(Juneau) A Juneau teen was sentenced to three years in prison and was placed on extended supervision for five years Monday for possessing illicit images of children. Jeremy Slayton uploaded multiple illegal photos to an account with Dropbox. When questioned, the 19-year-old denied making or placing images in a Dropbox account, but he recalled pop ups and reminders to make the account. Detectives found images consistent with child porn during a search of Slayton’s laptop.

(Fond du Lac) The Fond du Lac Police Department says they are actively investigating a suspicious death. Officers were called to East Merrill Avenue for a welfare check just after 8am Saturday. Upon arrival, police located a 51-year-old Fond du Lac woman who was found deceased inside her residence. Authorities say an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause and manner of death. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to law enforcement.

(Kingston) A home was completely destroyed by fire in Green Lake County Sunday evening. First responders were called to 115 Park Street in the village of Kingston around 7:18pm. Dispatch says a caller reported that flames were visible inside the house. Authorities say numerous fire departments were requested to the scene and they remained at the property until just before midnight. The cause of the fire is undetermined. No injuries were reported.

(Juneau) Dodge County is seeking input as it begins its five year update of the county’s parks, outdoor recreation, and open space plan. Officials with the Dodge County Land Resources and Parks Department says the plan will help reassess priorities and recommendations to help guide decisions that are crucial to the success of the county’s parks and trails system. A county-wide parks and trails survey is available online on the Dodge County website which will be open through December 16th. More information is available at DailyDodge.com.

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Police Department recently received a Fire Suppression Tool from the Dodge County Chapter of the Masonic Lodge. The equipment works by an officer pulling a pin and placing the device near some flames. It releases an aerosol that rapidly breaks the bond between the heat and oxygen molecules, which interrupts the progression of the blaze for roughly 35 seconds. Authorities say the tool can be deployed in the early stages of a fire to extinguish or slow its spread and buy valuable time for the fire department to arrive and begin full suppression methods.

(Shawano County) Shawano County deputies are requesting charges against two teens in connection with last month’s bonfire explosion. More than 40 people were injured in the October 14 explosion when a mixture of gas and diesel fuel was poured on a bonfire. A press release from the Sheriff’s Office says charges have been forwarded against a 17-year-old boy from Green Bay. Charges against a 16-year-old boy from Pulaski have been forwarded to Shawano County in juvenile court. There are also charges against the landowner who was present at the time.
