Memorial Day 2024 will feature ceremony’s all across the region today honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. A Memorial Day Mass will be held at the Lost Lake Randolph Historical Society at 11:00 a.
The Beaver Dam Fleet Farm will honor fallen soldiers this afternoon at 3pm as a live bugler will play Taps. The Taps Across America tribute was stated in 2015 and held in local communities across the United States.
A DePere Man, suspected in a Shawano County Attempted Homocide case was arrested in Dodge County on Saturday after Flock Cameras alerted authorites he was in the county. After he fled County sheriff’s deputies he was arrested near County L after exiting his vehicle and attempting to run away.
A pair of kayakers were rescued on Saturday from the Rock River when they were stuck around some downed trees. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office with help from the Waupun Fire Department, Waupun Police Department, LifeStar Ambulance and a good samaritan were able to rescue the 40-year-old Beaver Dam woman and 52-year-old woman with no injuries.
