(Beaver Dam) A new medical clinic will soon be under construction in Beaver Dam. SSM Health has announced plans for a new 40-thousand square foot, two-story clinic in Beaver Dam’s 151 Business Park. Last week, SSM Health officially closed on the purchase of five acres of land for the $16.5-million clinic which will house SSM Health primary and specialty care providers, in addition to imaging, laboratory and pharmacy services. Once the new clinic is built, SSM Health will move services currently provided in leased space adjacent to Marshfield Medical Center Beaver Dam to the new location. Construction on the new medical office building is set to begin this spring with an anticipated opening in the late winter or early spring of 2021. A public groundbreaking ceremony is being planned.

Winter-Vogley, who is a product of the Mayville school district and works as a medical claim’s adjuster, says he decided to run because the current administration is spending too much taxpayer money, specifically on attorneys. Winter-Vogley says his platform is one of fiscal responsibility along with public safety, transparency and community involvement.

(Clyman) District officials at Dodgeland say if a $17-million referendum question is approved, tax payers will still see a 40-cent drop in their mill rate. The reason for the decrease is because this year the school will finish paying off the loan associated with building the Dodgeland campus in 2000. As a result, the debt portion of the school property tax bill will drop. If approved, the referendum would address educational spaces, overall safety and infrastructure of the campus. An open house was held last night in Clyman, audio from the meeting is available at DailyDodge.com along with additional information.

(Milwaukee) Officials at Molson Coors say the gunman that killed 5 coworkers last week had filed a race-based complaint several years ago. Spokesman Adam Collins tells Fox 6 news that 51-year-old Anthony Ferrill made that complaint after a noose was found inside his locker. Collins says an investigation at that time didn’t turn up anything conclusive. Milwaukee Police say they are still investigating the case and that they don’t know if race played a part in the attack last week.
