(Neosho) A Columbus man accused of robbing a bank is heading to trial after probable cause was found Thursday. Alan Schade allegedly robbed the Horicon Bank in Neosho last month. An aftermarket exhaust system reportedly led authorities to locate his vehicle in Waterloo. The 43-year-old was also wearing a GPS ankle monitor at the time which reportedly placed him at the Neosho bank when the crime occurred. It also allegedly placed him at a bank in Ixonia two days earlier that was also robbed. If convicted, Schade faces up to 58 years in prison. An arraignment hearing is scheduled for March 16th.

(Watertown) A second person charged for his alleged role in a home invasion in Watertown three years ago is heading to trial. Probable cause was found Thursday during a preliminary hearing for Devon Robinson. A not guilty plea was entered in a subsequent arraignment hearing. Testing allegedly found Robinson’s DNA at the scene of the crime. If convicted, the 35-year-old faces up to 52-and-a-half years in prison.

(Lomira) A Lomira man guilty of possessing illegal content of children was sentenced yesterday to three years in prison and placed on extended supervision for three years. Peter Braun entered a guilty plea to three felony counts of Child Pornography in October. Authorities executed a search warrant at Braun’s address last March and seized multiple videos. When questioned Braun told investigators he first loaded the pictures as a joke, adding that he did not know the children were underage.

(Juneau) A Dodge County farmer group will be receiving funds from the latest round of Producer-Led Watershed Protection Grants. Farmers for Healthy Soil and Healthy Water are a part of 35 other organizations selected by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. Officials with DATCP say farmers will use the funds to work with conservation organizations to address soil and water issues specific to their local watersheds. Dodge County Farmers for Healthy Soil and Healthy Water will be getting $33,180. A newly funded group, Jefferson County Soil Builders, is in line to receive $18,522.

(Mayville) Tickets go on sale soon for the Marias Players of Mayville upcoming production. Money Matters hits the state stage in April and tickets are available for purchase beginning Monday. Show dates include April 1st through the 3rd and the 8th through the 10th at the American Legion Post on 134 South Main Street in Mayville. The Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre’s mainstage spring production called The Wild Women of Winedale starts next month. That runs from March 18th through the 20th and the 25th through the 27th.
