New $16.5-Million Dollar Health Clinic To Be Built In Beaver Dam

(Beaver Dam) A new medical clinic will soon be under construction in Beaver Dam. SSM Health has announced plans for a new 40-thousand square foot, two-story clinic in Beaver Dam’s 151 Business Park.

Last week, SSM Health officially closed on the purchase of five acres of land on which the new facility will be built. The new $16.5-million clinic will house SSM Health primary and specialty care providers, in addition to imaging, laboratory and pharmacy services.

Once the new clinic is built, SSM Health will move services currently provided in leased space adjacent to Marshfield Medical Center Beaver Dam to the new location.

SSM Health Regional President Damond Boatwright says they are “excited about the opportunities this new location will offer to patients and families in the Beaver Dam area,” which he says “will provide more convenience for patients, along with upgraded facilities and equipment and allows us room for growth.”

Construction on the new medical office building is set to begin this spring with an anticipated opening in the late winter or early spring of 2021. A public groundbreaking ceremony is being planned.
