New Trail Date Set For Beaver Dam Homicide Suspect

(Beaver Dam) A week-long jury trial for a Beaver Dam man accused of supplying the drugs that led to an overdose death was rescheduled Tuesday. Brian K Larson is facing five felony counts including Manufacture and Delivery of Heroin, Bail Jumping and First Degree Homicide by Delivery of Drugs. The trial was set to begin on December 3 but got pushed back to February 25 following the withdrawal of Larson’s public defender in September. Dakoda Kline of Juneau died of a drug overdose on April 9. Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies and the medical examiner were called to the Oakwood Cemetery after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle parked overnight with its engine running. The 25-year-old was found dead slumped over the wheel after taking heroin allegedly supplied by Larson. The heroin sales were related to offenses that occurred in March and May of last year. If convicted, the 29-year-old Larson faces up to 77 years in prison.
