7/26/11 – Members of Beaver Dam’s newest service organization joined us on WBEV’s Community Comment on Friday. The local chapter of Junior Chamber International, or JCI, has already held one organizational meeting to elect officers and has their second membership meeting today (Tue). The group, once known as the Jaycees, is made-up of local professionals in their 20’s and 30’s and hasn’t had a chapter in Beaver Dam in well over a decade. Board President James Wold says it’s not too late for those interested in joining to get in on the ground floor and become charter members. The meeting today is at 6pm at the Horicon Bank off Industrial Drive in Beaver Dam.
