New Alice In Dairyland Will Be Named Saturday Night

(Madison) A new Alice in Dairyland will be named Saturday night. The 75th Alice in Dairyland final banquet and program gets underway just after 6pm.

The role serves as a full-time communications professional for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. The new Alice will begin her term on July 5th while the current title holder, Julie Nunes, will continue her term until the transition begins.

The Dodge County-area’s most recent connection to Alice in Dairyland was in 2010. Christine Lindner of Fall River, who grew up on her family’s farm just outside of Beaver Dam, was the state’s 63rd Alice.
