(Iron Ridge) A Neshkoro man was charged Thursday with running from Iron Ridge police. Robert Schuster is facing a felony charge of Fleeing stemming from the incident back in July. According to the criminal complaint, an officer observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign and turned on their emergency lights. The vehicle then speed away at a high rate of speed with police losing sight of it at the intersection of County Road WS and Highway 67. The officer then saw the vehicle hit an embankment east of Highway 67, travel across both northbound and southbound lanes and crash into some nearby woods. According to the criminal complaint, Schuster was identified as the driver and reportedly said he ran because he did not want to go back to jail.
