(Juneau) The man who was sentenced to three years in prison for fatally punching a man outside a bar three years ago has been ordered to pay restitution costs to the family. 26-year-old Lynn Davis assaulted 52-year-old Scott Lazich of Neosho at the Schuyler Street Pub in Neosho on October of 2006. A witness told authorities that he was about to enter the bar when he saw Lazich fall through the front door and land on his back. The witness said that his head made a loud smack as it struck the sidewalk and saw Davis standing in the doorway. Lazich died at Hartford Hospital two days later as the result of blunt force trauma to the head. The restitution will be for expenses related to funeral, which cost just over $5000.
