National Guard Bring COVID Testing Team To Fox Lake Correctional

(Dodge County) The Wisconsin National Guard is bringing a coronavirus testing team back to Dodge County. In a press release this morning, the Guard says two specimen collection teams will be at the Fox Lake Correctional Institution today (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday). The prison had previously tested five inmates and all the tests came back negative. A total of 25 National Guard teams continue to operate across Wisconsin supporting state and local health departments as part of effort to increase the state’s COVID-19 testing capacity. The teams, comprised of nearly 600 Citizen Soldiers and Airmen in total, established mobile testing sites at locations ranging from health clinics to private businesses, and community-based testing sites to correctional facilities. There have been 225 inmates that have tested positive at nearby Waupun Correctional, the most of any prison in the state.
