(Beaver Dam) Moraine Park Technical College recently celebrated its spring 2023 Nursing graduates who all passed their National Council Licensure Examinations. College officials say this is an exceptional accomplishment, as this was the first class to take the revised Examinations called the Next Generation.
With the change, there is typically a dip in pass rates nationally; however, MPTC noted that faculty made necessary efforts to ensure that future nurses would be ready.
Associate Dean of Health Katie Hughes says that she is beyond proud of everyone involved but especially the new RN’s who beat the nationwide odds with their 100-percent pass rate.
The 49 graduates of Moraine Park are now officially registered nurses and are licensed to serve the immense needs in the local health settings.
