Beaver Dam’s Morgan McGauley Heading To State Swim Meet

Beaver Dam High School senior Morgan McGauley is heading to the WIAA Girls State Swimming & Diving Tournament after a strong showing at the Germantown Sectional.

McGauley qualified to the state meet in the 100 freestyle and just missed out in the 50 freestyle.  She finished 3rd in the 100 freestyle with a time of 53.70 and was 7th in the 50 freestyle in a time of 24.86.

The last BDHS girls swimmer to qualify for the state meet was Kerry Rossow who went in the 100 breaststroke back in 2005..

This year’s WIAA State Girls Swimming & Diving Meet will also be held November 13th and 14th at Waukesha South because the University of Wisconsin’s Natatorium is not available because of COVID-19.
