9/4/12 – Dodge County authorities are once again investigating reports of mailboxes being destroyed. The latest incidents came yesterday morning in the town of Beaver Dam. Several residents on Thompson Road reported their mailboxes were knocked down and damaged. This incident comes in the wake of vandalism sprees earlier this summer. In July, mailboxes were smashed with baseball bats in the towns of Herman and Rubicon. In one weekend in June, there were 16 reports of mailboxes being vandalized in the town of Ashippun though authorities were able to arrest one person believed to be involved. Anyone with information about the latest round should contact the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department.
