Moraine Park Technical College Apprentices Receive Scholarship

(Fond du Lac) Nineteen apprentices within the Moraine Park system will be benefiting from their share of a nearly $30,000 scholarship provided by the Ascendium Education Group.  The Tools of the Trade scholarship helps ease the burden students in construction and industrial trade apprenticeships across the Wisconsin Technical College System face while trying to balance gaining job experience, classroom instruction, and the demands of school, work, and family.  The funds can help offset the substantial costs beyond tuition, such as purchasing tools, clothing, and other work supplies.  Each Tools of the Trade scholarship winner receives a total of $1,500 for the 2020-2021 school year.  A full list of Moraine Park apprentices being awarded the Tools of the Trade Scholarship will accompany this story online at DailyDodge.com
