(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 3,095 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 74,340 active cases in the state, a decrease of 695 from Sunday. Active cases make up 20.8-percent of the 357-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 280-thousand recoveries.
The state reported six deaths bringing that total to 3,011. Deaths account for point-eight-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.5-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 256-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has 66 deaths on record and 7,767 cases to date. The county had 72 negative tests returned for a running total of 32,605. County health officials are actively monitoring 1131 people, 34 more than Friday.
Washington County now has 65 deaths and a has reported 8,082 cases to date.
Fond du Lac County is reporting 40 deaths with 7,963 positive tests on record; 1463 are active cases a drop of 244 from Friday.
Jefferson County has recorded 55 deaths, which includes 20 people from Watertown, and 4,907 cases to date; including 1041 active cases.
There have been 10 deaths in Columbia County where there have been 3,161 total cases; currently the county has 978 active cases.
Green Lake County has logged five deaths and has 1,133 cases on record, with 227 cases reported in the last two weeks.
