(Beaver Dam) Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam is now scheduling appointments for those 65 and older to get a COVID-19 vaccination shot. The Wisconsin Department of Health recently announced citizens 65 and up will be eligible beginning Monday, January 25th.
Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam Chief Administrative Officer Angelia Foster says she is excited to see the community’s desire for the coronavirus vaccine and believe that this is a step toward the community finding a new normal in a post-COVID world. She says it may take some time, but they look forward to providing the vaccine to whomever wants it, as quickly as supplies allows.
Those aged 65 and older who would like to schedule their COVID-19 vaccine at the hospital should call 855-908-5029 between 8am and 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Dodge County has seen a significant demand for the vaccine, and the community is asked to be patient as more people continue to be vaccinated in the coming weeks.
Foster says their team has done a tremendous job preparing, and they hope that the vaccine supply can keep up with the demand. As more groups become eligible for the vaccine, Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam will release further information on how appointments can be scheduled.
