(Theresa) Cash bond was set at $5,000 for a Milwaukee man accused of running from Theresa police. Malik Berry is facing a felony count of Fleeing and Bail Jumping as well as a misdemeanor charge of Possession of THC.

While an officer was patrolling Monday, April 18th, afternoon a vehicle passed him traveling roughly 80-miles-per-hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone. The suspect vehicle continued to accelerate according to the criminal complaint, and passed a school bus illegally on a double yellow center line.

The pursuit ended when the vehicle reached a dead end road. Berry was allegedly identified as the driver. He reportedly admitted to law enforcement that he had a revoked license due to an OWI arrest which was why he did not stop.
