Memorial Day Ceremonies To Take Place All Over Dodge County

5/28/17 – There will be several activities county wide in honor of Memorial Day tomorrow. In Beaver dam, a ceremony will be held at Veterans Memorial Park at Oakwood Cemetery on Highway 33 starting at 10:15am. Seating will be provided but attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. In Waupun, the annual Memorial Day parade begins at 9am with ceremonies to take place at Shaler Park at 10am. The Lowell Veterans of Foreign Post and the Reeseville American Legion Post will conduct Memorial Day observances beginning at the Village Cemetery in Lowell at 7:30am which includes a parade. In Friesland, the American Legion Post will hold a service starting at 9am in the cemetery. Cambria’s Legion Post will hold ceremony at 10:30am at Cambria-Friesland High School. A Memorial Day parade will make its way through Randolph starting at 9:15am. The same will happen in Columbus. The Fall River Memorial Day Program will be held in the school multi-purpose room beginning at 9:30am. The American Legion Post in Horicon will hold memorial honors at all of the cemeteries in Horicon starting at 7am. In Mayville, the Legion Post will visit local cemeteries starting at 8am with a parade will beginning at 10am.
