(Portage) A Mazomanie man is facing several drug related charges following his arrest by Columbia County authorities Wednesday. During an investigation by the county’s drug task force, a suspect was observed leaving a known drug area in Portage. Detectives contacted the suspect for questioning but he fled on foot, sparking a pursuit through a residential area. The suspect was apprehended in the 500 block of East Cook Street and was reportedly identified as Trenton Lilly. The 23-year-old was allegedly found with 28 grams of methamphetamine, a scale and other drug paraphernalia. He is facing Possession with Intent to Deliver, Deliver of Meth, Obstruction, Carrying a Concealed Knife by a Felon, among other charges. Lilly is currently being held at the Columbia County Jail awaiting his court appearance.
