Mayville 12 Beaver Dam 6
Mayville scored four unearned runs in the top of the 2nd and blew open the game with six runs in the top of the 6th to win at Beaver Dam 12-6 on Monday. Trent Zimmer led Mayville at the plate going 2×3 with a double and 3 RBI. Hunter Herpel also went 2×3 with a double, RBI and 2 runs scored. Jeffrey Bemis went 2×2 with a run scored for Beaver Dam. Mayville improves to 7-3 on the season. They will host St. Mary’s Springs tonight at 7pm. The loss drops Beaver Dam to 5-3 on the year. Beaver Dam travels to Waupun on Wednesday night. Waupun 9 Watertown 2
A five run 2nd inning pushed Watertown to a 9-2 win at Watertown on Monday night. Baron Buchholz went 2×4 with a double, triple and 2 RBI to lead Waupun. Jaden White also went 3×4 with a double and 3 RBI for the winners. Taylor Walter drove in a run for Watertown as they collected just three hits on the night. Noah Gerritson struck out seven in four and two-thirds innings of work to pick up the win for Waupun. Ayden Schauer fanned 9 batters in five and two-thirds innings but was hung with the loss. Watertown will host Fond du Lac in a split squad double header on Tuesday night at 5:30pm. Waupun travels to Randolph on Tuesday night at 6pm.
