(Beaver Dam) Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam announced Friday that they have reactivated their COVID-19 drive-thru testing site. A reason behind the decision comes as part of the collective effort to re-open Wisconsin safely and effectively, with increased access to testing as one of the critical next steps identified by state and county public health officials. Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam Chief Administrative Officer Angelia Foster says working collaboratively with Dodge County Public Health and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services has been the key to flattening the curve. She says they will continue to allocate their resources in a way that best serves the community. Those who do have symptoms should contact their primary care provider or call 877-998-0022 to be screened by a medical professional. The screening line is open from 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday while testing will be performed from noon to 4pm each weekday. Foster says the hospital is here to care for people safely and that they do not want anyone to feel they should put off treatment for emergent or urgent health conditions.
