(Marquette County) Marquette County is looking for a new District Attorney. Governor Tony Evers announced Friday that he is accepting applications to fill the vacancy. Current D-A Chad Hendee is stepping down on July 31 after being elected in April to be the county’s new judge. Hendee will be sworn-in on August 1. The new appointee will serve for the remainder of the term through January of 2021. Hendee was appointed by former Governor Scott Walker in 2011. Those interested need to submit an application by May 31.
