(Markesan) The Markesan Police Department is investigating a retail theft that occurred at two businesses in the city.
Authorities say the suspects entered the city’s Piggly Wiggly and Citgo and stole significant amount of liquor.
They add that this was accomplished by one of the suspects distracting the clerk and the other removing the liquor from packaging, placing it in a bag, and then leaving the story.
The suspects were in a black Nissan Titan crew cab with no cover or cap. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Markesan Police Department.
