Mark Born Recognized For His Legislative Work

(Beaver Dam) A state representative from Beaver Dam was recognized for supporting pro-business policies. Mark Born was presented the Working for Wisconsin Award from the Wisconsin Manufacturers for his work during the most recent legislative session.

The award is based on individual voting records, regardless of party affiliation. The Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce says all legislators are considered, but the award only goes to those who consistently vote to make the state a good place for business.

Born was also a recipient of the Guardian of Small Business award from the National Federation of Independent Businesses. That award is given to those who demonstrate exceptional leadership and consistency in supporting the small business agenda.

Born received the Working for Wisconsin Award at John Deere Horicon Works and the Guardian of Small Business Award at Ooga Brewery in Beaver Dam this week.
