(Dodge County) Regional vehicle sales through the first three months of the year continue to see improvements when compared to 2023.
According to the Waterloo-based industry tracking firm Reg Trak, there have been a total of 691 car and light truck sales in Dodge County through March of 2024, 20 more than last year or an increase of nearly three-percent.
Car sales saw two additional sales over last year while truck sales saw 18. In Columbia County, auto sales saw a jump of six-and-a-half-percent with 601 vehicles rolling off dealer lots through the end of March.
Car sales in the county were up 27-percent while truck sales were up over four-percent. Jefferson County dealers saw 580 vehicles roll off dealer lots for an increase of six-percent. Car sales in the county were up by just under 26-percent while truck sales jumped four-percent.
For the nine-county, South Central Wisconsin region as a whole, there were 9,901 vehicles sold, 373 more than by this time a year ago, a nearly four-percent increase.
Truck sales in the region were up by just under five-percent while car sales decreased by nearly two-percent.ย
