Madison Men Arraigned For Randolph Strong Armed Robbery

(Randolph) The suspects in what police called a strong-armed robbery in Randolph were arraigned Wednesday. Twenty-year-old Torrence Rodgers and 31-year-old Casheon Beal both entered not guilty pleas to felony charges of Theft of Movable Property. The two Madison men were arrested in May after a Randolph man said that he was robbed by two individuals in a public alley near Williams Street. The victim told police that physical force was used to take money though no weapons were displayed during the incident. The victim was able to provide a description of the suspect’s vehicle, which was later stopped on Highway 151 in Dane County. The victim’s cellphone and cash were allegedly found inside the vehicle along with a small amount of marijuana. The suspects have court activity on the calendar next in September.
