Madison Man Charged With Fleeing Dodge County Deputies

(Calamus) A Madison man is charged with running from Dodge County authorities. Noah Sanders is facing felony counts of Fleeing and Bail Jumping as well as a misdemeanor count of Operating while Revoked. A sheriff’s deputy reportedly pulled Sanders vehicle over earlier this month for speeding on Highway 151 in the Town of Calamus. According to the criminal complaint, Sanders’ license was revoked due to a previous OWI conviction in 2009After first complying with law enforcement, Sanders allegedly put the vehicle in drive and accelerated away. A pursuit that lasted 12 miles ensued and was terminated one more north of County Road V in Columbia County. If convicted, the 39-year-old faces over nine-and-a-half-years behind bars. A signature bond was set at $1,000 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 16th.
