Lucille R. Schultz, 89, of Mayville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Hope Senior Living in Lomira, Wisconsin.
A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 with the Rev. Ken Schaub at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville, Wisconsin.
Lucille was born the daughter of William and Adell (Wickert) Wittenberger on July 25, 1931 in Hubertus, Wisconsin. She was a graduate of Hartford High School and Dodge County Normal School graduating on June 3, 1950. On November 14, 1953, she was united in marriage with Alphonse “Bud” Schultz in Richfield, Wisconsin.
Lucille was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville, where she volunteered with the quilting group and helped in the church kitchen. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and listening to music.
Lucille will be missed by her children: Gerald (Linda) Schultz of Plymouth, Paul Schultz of Mayville and Lisa (Todd) Strook of Mayville; four grandchildren: Joshua (Ashley) Schultz, Katie Schultz, Jason (Brie) Strook, Tyler (Gabby) Strook; great grandchildren: Zoe, Sully and Warren Strook; and her sister Janet (George) Timmerman of Jefferson. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bud, her brother Robert and her son John.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Hope Health and Rehabilitation in Lomira and Agnesian Hospice Hope.
