Longtime Randolph Girls Basketball Coach Tim Omen Passes Away

Former Randolph girls basketball coach Tim Omen passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday.   The 1975 Randolph High School graduate had two successful stints as the Rockets girls varsity basketball coach from 1981 to 1994 and again from 2005 to 2014.  During his first stretch, Randolph won 12 Dual County Conference championships in thirteen seasons.  In his 2nd run as coach, Randolph was able to win the Trailways Conference championship in the 2005-06 season.  In total, his teams compiled a 407-95 record and won 13 conference championships over 22 seasons.   He was inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2015.  Omen was 62.   Randolph Community Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
