Lomira Man Found Guilty Of Possessing Illegal Content Of Children

(Lomira) A Lomira man was found guilty Thursday with possessing illegal content of children. Peter Braun entered a guilty plea to three felony counts of Child Pornography. Two additional felony counts were dismissed but read into the record. A special agent with the Wisconsin Department of Justice was tasked to investigate several Cyber Tipline reports filed by Microsoft and Google. Multiple images were uploaded that were illicit in nature and involved minors. The images were tied back to Braun. A search warrant was executed in March and authorities seized multiple videos. When questioned, Braun admitted to possessing child porn. The 57-year-old faces 75-years in prison. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for January 12th.
