(Lomira) Cash bond was set at $5,000 this week for a Lomira man accused of spitting at police after getting drunk at a Super Bowl party. Jason Moore is facing a felony count of Discharge Bodily Fluid and Bail Jumping as well as misdemeanor charges of Lewd Behavior, Resisting an Officer and Disorderly Conduct. On Sunday (February 2nd), police were dispatched to Moore’s residence in Lomira for a domestic disturbance. Moore was outside when officers arrived but reportedly refused to cooperate with their questions and locked himself back inside the home. According to the criminal complaint, Moore’s spouse told police that he had drank excessively at a Super Bowl party. She allegedly said when they got home Moore became argumentative with family members. While officers were on scene, Moore reportedly threatened to call the cops on them and said they had no lawful authority to be there. Moore was eventually taken into custody and after being placed in a squad car, allegedly spat at a police officer. If convicted, the 44-year-old faces five-and-a-half years behind bars. A judge will decide next week if there is enough evidence to order a trial.
