The assembly is honoring a first responder from each of the 99 districts and Bob Belling was selected to represent the 39th district. Representative Mark Born says Belling’s dedication and commitment to our area does not go unnoticed and the region is blessed to have him serving the community. Belling has been a volunteer firefighter with the Knowles Fire Department for over 40 years and has served as fire chief for 26 years. He also served as a first responder with the Brownsville Emergency Medical Service. The “First Responder of the Year” recipients were recognized during the assembly’s floor session.
