(Wisconsin) Several Wisconsin Schools will soon be able to fly a special new flag outside their buildings after being recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2022. Eight Wisconsin schools have achieved the honor alongside 289 others from across the country. The designation is based on the school’s overall academic performance or progress in closing academic achievement gaps. Local schools recognized as Exemplary High Performing Schools include Theresa Elementary in the Lomira School District along with Sullivan Elementary in Jefferson County. Willson Elementary in the Baraboo School District was named an Exemplary Achievement Gap-Closing School.
