Our legal assistant’s regular responsibilities include drafting legal documents, preparing correspondence, maintaining client files, scheduling appointments, and answering telephones.
As the first point of contact for our clients, we seek somebody with a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Our ideal candidate is well-organized and able to multi-task in a collaborative, energetic small office environment. We seek somebody who enjoys working with others, but is able to self-motivate. Our successful legal assistants take pride in their work and the services they provide to our attorneys and our clients. Competence and hard work result in increased responsibility, including client interaction.
Required: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office environment. TABS billing software training will be provided.
