Leadership Beaver Dam Classes Underway

(Beaver Dam) The Beaver Dam Area Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed its 2021-2022 class of Leadership Beaver Dam. The program began in 2008 and has had twelve graduating classes and took a break in 2020 due to COVID. The nine-month course will encourage and prepare the participants to be active community leaders. The initial class had members discovering their core values, writing personal mission statements, and discovering their personality traits to improve emotional intelligence. Through challenging puzzles, the group learned how to work as a team to problem solve. Next month the class will learn about the history of Beaver Dam and how to run an effective meeting as well as goal set.
