(Beaver Dam) Beaver Dam trash collection scheduled for last week will resume this Wednesday. With the city entering into a contract with a new company, GFL Environmental, Waste Management was slated to collect their carts during regularly scheduled service days last week. However, many properties still have their old bins. Beaver Dam officials say they have been communicating with Waste Management about this issue.
They say the Wednesday and Friday routes that were not emptied last week will be emptied starting January 5th. Pickup of the empty carts for Tuesday’s route will be done by the end of Tuesday and the rest of the routes will follow each day.
Officials ask residents not to put any more trash in the old Waste Management carts and they should be left at the curb. The public are also advised to start using the new GFL carts as of their collection day last week and they will be picked up this week on their regular scheduled date.
