LaLonnie “Sam” Odebrecht

LaLonnie “Sam” Odebrecht, 71, of Fond du Lac, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her home.

 

Sam was born August 7, 1947 in Waupun the daughter of Donald and Gloria Quinn Myers, Sr.  Sam attended Waupun schools. She was married to Dennis Stellmacher, Charles H. Lueck, and then to Jack Odebrecht.  She was employed as a bartender at various bars in the Fond du Lac area. She was an avid reader, a talented artist, a lover of creatures whether great or small, and loved her grandchildren with great vitality.  She was an avid supporter of the Humane Society and the ASPCA.

 

Sam is survived by three daughters: Michelle Quinn (partner Johnson Soares) of Milwaukee, Amber (Daniel) Sell of Markesan, and Charity (Alex) Hohlstein of Madison; step-son, Jason Odebrecht; four grandchildren: Quinn DeVorse, Dennis Reilly, Samantha Reilly, and Lars Hohlstein; two sisters: Deb (Mike) Manchester of Waupun and Pat (Mark) Harmsen of Waupun; three brothers: Donald (Deb) Myers, Jr. of Lake Tomahawk, WI, Scott (Mary Jo) Myers of Mayville, and Jeff (Nellie) Myers of Tomah; and her very special friend, Leonard Lange of Ripon.

 

Sam was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Gloria Myers, Sr.

 

It’s Sam’s wish not to have a formal service.
