Karen Krause

Karen Krause, age 68, of Beaver Dam, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at UW Hospital in Madison.

The gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon. John R. Leiting will be the celebrant. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Karen was born on October 26, 1950 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Alfred and Mildred (Bolin) Krause. She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School. In 1976, Karen entered the United States Air Force and was discharged in 1980. Karen worked for the United States Postal Service, working out of the Juneau office and later out of Horicon. She just recently retired. Karen was a loyal Packer fan, but her biggest joy was spending time with her brothers and family.

Karen is survived by her brothers, Keith (Mary) Krause of Beaver Dam, Steve Krause of Beaver Dam; nephew, Brandon Krause; niece Megan Krause; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Krause; and her loyal companion, Sadie.

Memorials may be made in Karen Krause’s name to the Dodge County Humane Society.
